About the event

Now that most of the snow has melted, we can finally get on the trail for much-needed work. Come join the Amador Trail Stewardship (ATS) and staff from the USFS Eldorado National Forest- Amador District for a trail maintenance day.

We will be looking to clear and groom the trail from Silver Lake to Hidden Lake (@6 miles out and back). USFS-certified sawyers will be joining us to cut the downed trees along the path.

We expect to get started at the Granite Lake trailhead at 8:00 a.m. and be out until around 2 or 3 p.m. If the parking area at the trailhead is too impacted we can shuttle from Camp Silverado, where some of us will be camping.

Please bring plenty of water, snacks, and your own lunch.

ATS will supply the personal protection equipment (gloves, helmets, safety goggles) thanks to the generosity of Crusader Fence Company, along with some tools but feel free to bring your own.

Please send us an email at info@amadortrailstewardship.com with questions.
