Adult MTB Basic Skills Class

This will be an introductory class for those who are new or curious about mountain biking. We will meet initially at the bike park at the Mother Lode Land Trust's C&C Ranch to go over safety concerns including proper helmet and bike fitting and then move into some basic bike skills such as braking, body position in various scenarios, climbing, descending, etc. We will end the class with a group ride on the bigger part of the ranch. Required: a helmet, water you can carry with you on the group ride, snack, and bike. However, if the lack of any of these might preclude your involvement please reach out ahead of time and we will do our best to help provide for the day.
